Update

We have now completed a presentation on SlideShare for our chosen final poster and another one for our chosen final magazine cover and uploaded them to our blogs. Emily and I brainstormed the ideas together and I produced the poster presentation and she produced the magazine presentation. I also completed a reflection chart explaining how the different stages and tasks of our coursework have helped us create our final product.

Progress

I have completed question 1 for the evaluation by first making brief notes with help from the rest of the group and then writing up a detailed analysis on Emaze. I then added images and video clips to the slides to create a more visual and creative effect. I have now uploaded my answer along with the questions completed by the other group members. We all participated in the initial stages of each question by helping to generate ideas and create brief notes that can be used by the person writing up the question. We made a conscious effort to use a range of presentation software and techniques creatively between us by using Emaze, Prezzi and interview style YouTube videos all with use of screenshots, images, web links and video clips. I also completed a final draft of my magazine cover on Photoshop and uploaded it to my blog along with a paragraph explaining the changes I made between my first and final draft.

On Monday Emily and I converted our trailer into a YouTube file and embedded the link into our blogs. Today I have completed a first draft for my magazine cover by creating the text and the layout  after manipulating my image on Photoshop yesterday.

Update

I came up with three initial possible names for my magazine cover and decided to go with 'The Big Screen' after brainstorming the pros and cons of each name on my blog. I then composed my cover lines and magazine slogan and collected the information needed, such as issue number, date, price and barcode and wrote them up on my blog. I also collected three fonts that I could use for the title of my magazine and analysed them on my blog and wrote up a summary paragraph about what I have learnt from my poster analysis amount film poster conventions and how this will influence my final poster.
